Current work- January 2009 to present 

This collection is the final outcome of a number of experiments with surface treatments and geometric form. My work involves a range of processes where visual layers are produced as well as riveted layers, breaking up the surface and providing a dimensional element.

I have been inspired by a variety of worn surfaces to explore the visual appearance of texture. This was achieved by mark making that I have manipulated and translated onto metal through the etching process combined with the use of base metals, as well as silver in the layering components and fastenings.

I aim to attract those who find the irregular texture visually stimulating, also the concept of sculptural and wearable adornment.
